I love my cat, Codfish; we share a similar personality.

Week Four - Final Reflection
1. I believe that being grateful builds creativity. At first I was skeptical, but then I realized that in order to find something you are thankful for every day, you have to look at life in a new perspective. Taking pictures in the same manner and same angle repeatedly gets to be monotonous and boring. This project pushes you to think differently and hone into your creativity to make each picture unique. For me, I had to figure out how to make each picture visually appealing instead of just snapping a picture and uploading it. In order for me to capture the subject that I was grateful for, I had to keep trying different angles, until I got it to where I the mood and atmosphere fit in with it.
2. The most difficult part of this project was finding a subject to take a picture of everyday. Sometimes I would find myself forgetting or just desperately looking around for something to take a picture of. The most valuable part of this project, however, was being able to focus on the positive things in life. I might recommend this project to other students. While it is fun, it's also a bit limited in what you can take pictures of and it's easy to forget to take pictures.
3. If I could design a similar project, I'd create one where you take pictures of things that interest or represent you. You'd be able to express yourself through your photography with you as the theme. People around you would be able to get to know you better and you'd have a chance to appreciate your hobbies and interests.

Day 14
It was great to go to the fair again this year. I always love the atmosphere with the colors, carnival smell, and people. I've always gone to the fair since I was younger and it always makes me feel nostalgic.
Day 13
I'm thankful for Starbucks because they have the best tea and it's always handy to reuse the cups for my own tea!

Day 12
Taco Bell is my number one favorite fast food chain. We always have to grab ten handfuls of hot sauce packets before we leave.
Week 3 Reflection
I've already taken so many pictures now that I feel I will run out of subjects to photograph. This project is really forcing me to start to think outside the box and really look for things I'm grateful for that I may not have realized or noticed before.

Week 2 Reflection
Having to take one picture everyday has forced me to find something I am grateful for and figure out how to capture it in a photograph in a visually aesthetic way. I think this is a good way to exercise my abilities and see everyday things in a new light.

Day 7
I love my laptop in a non-materialistic way. It's more of my medium and has introduced me to the many hobbies I have today and opened me up to many things I could have never discovered without the internet.

Week One Reflection
While this project is supposed to make you feel more grateful for the little things in life, I have already been greatful and I've always managed to not take everyday things for granted. If anything, this project is just helping me to capture them in an image so I may never forget.
